Example roles. This site is running on example data. The organisations and roles shown are invented to demonstrate the service.

Recruiting through Causework

Posting a role will be free. Here is how it will work, from creating an account to placing a volunteer.

Launch status: the role search is live now. Accounts, posting, applications and messaging open with the next release, planned before Reach stops accepting new roles on 29 September 2026.

How posting works

  1. Create an account with your organisation email, then create your organisation or ask to join one that already exists.
  2. Complete the organisation profile: type, regulator number, location, size, income band, objectives and causes. It is checked against the criteria, with a two-working-day target.
  3. Post a role in four steps: about the role, about the person, when and where, and how to apply. Save a draft at any point, or duplicate a previous role.
  4. The role is checked against the criteria, again with a two-working-day target. If something needs changing you are told what and why.
  5. The role goes live in search, in the sitemap and in the partner feed, until its closing date or until you pause or close it.
  6. Applicants and questions will arrive in your dashboard. You message them here, then mark each one placed or declined so the record is complete.
