Rebuild our website

Our WordPress site has not been touched since 2017 and is now our biggest barrier to recruiting young volunteers. We need a developer to plan and build a replacement over about three months.

All roles on Causework need at least three years of professional experience in the skills listed.

What will you be doing?

Scope a replacement with our communications officer, choose a platform we can maintain ourselves, build it, migrate the content that still matters, and hand over with a short written guide.

What are we looking for?

Three or more years building websites professionally, ideally with a content management system a non-technical team can run. You should be comfortable saying no to feature requests.

What difference will you make?

Nine in ten of our beach clean sign-ups come from the website. Doubling that number would double the hands on the beach.
